Two places in Delhi may see traffic disruptions due to RRTS work

NEW DELHI: The National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) is building on the Regional Rapid Transit System (RRTS) corridor, and as a result, Delhi Traffic Police has issued warnings about potential traffic interruptions at two places.

The first piece of advice concerns building work at Sundial Park on Ring Road, which is slated to take place between 11 p.m. and 5 a.m. on March 22 and May 31. The highway from Sarai Kale Khan towards the Ashram side is expected to have an impact on traffic on Ring Road near Sundial Park, according to officials.
It is recommended that drivers look for other routes and stay away from this section of road during the designated hours. Routes via the Nizamuddin Khatta traffic signal and Bhairon Marg are two suggested detours. The alert urged drivers heading towards Noida to use NH24, Noida Mor, and Chilla Border to get to their destinations.
The second advice is with construction that is scheduled to take place between March 22 and May 15, namely from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m., from Nangli Razapur, Sarai Kale Khan, to the Hazrat Nizamuddin railway station. Railway Station Road will be closed to traffic, according to officials, forcing commuters to take other routes via DND, Ashram, Mathura Road, and NH-24/NH-9.
