Two suspects in the police net who have been at large for thirty years

Two people who had been eluding capture for over thirty years have been taken into custody by a special police force.

Tariq Ah Lone of Karphali Mohalla, Shaheedgunj, and Gulzar Ahmad Chechoo of Aabi Nowpora, Dalgate, were the targets of warrants, according to the police. According to Section 512 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, the Pulwama Principal District and Sessions Judge and the Pulwama Munsif Court, respectively, had issued the warrants.

According to the police, the two accused had been avoiding arrest for the previous 34 and 27 years, respectively, and were connected to two cases (FIR numbers 142/1989 and 130/1996) at the Awantipora police station. A police squad detained them, and they were brought before a judge.

In a similar vein, Abdul Samad Malla of Gunistan Sumbal, who had been eluding capture for the previous seven years, was the subject of an execution of a warrant issued by the JMIC court under Section 512 of the Code of Criminal Procedure by a special squad of the Tral police station. He had been registered at the Tral police station in a case (FIR No. 49/2017). The culprit was taken into custody in the Gunistan Sumbal region. He was then brought before a judge, according to the police.
