Yogi Adityanath and Harivansh, a JD(U) MP and RS Deputy Chairman, share the stage at Ballia

On Wednesday at Jai Prakash Nagar, Loknayak Jayaprakash Narayan’s birthplace, Yogi Adityanath, the chief minister of Uttar Pradesh, and Harivansh, a member of the Janata Dal (United), shared the stage.

Last year, the BJP and JD(U) broke up once again. When Harivansh decided to go against the JD(U)’s orders and attend the new Parliament’s inauguration ceremony on May 28, the party responded angrily.

Together with Harivansh, the chief minister officially opened or lay the cornerstone for 144 construction projects totaling Rs 3,638.25 crore in the hamlet of Jai Prakash Nagar (Sitabadiyara), which is situated on the Bihar border. On this occasion, Dr. Vivek Prasad and Kaushik Singh from Jayaprakash Narayan’s family were also present.

The chief minister mentioned Loknayak Jayaprakash Narayan’s contributions, saying that when democracy in the nation was in danger, Jayaprakash Narayan led a struggle to preserve it.

Daya Shankar Singh, the minister of transport, Daya Shankar Mishra Dayalu, Danish Ansari, the minister of state for minorities, and the members of parliament Neeraj Shekhar, Virendra Singh Mast, and Ravindra Kushwaha were also present.
