According to Mrs. Nita Ambani, the owner of the Mumbai Indians franchise, the WPL is an inspiration for females in all sports

In the current Women’s Premier League (WPL), the Mumbai Indians lost their last league stage match against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB). They weren’t too hurt by the thumping since the reigning champs had already advanced to the next round. From the grandstand, MI Women’s owner, Mrs. Nita Ambani, observed the action and expressed her happiness with the team’s success this season.

She expressed her happiness that Indian cricket players have the opportunity to play among the world’s finest in the WPL and used Sajeevan Sajana as an example to support the idea that parents should support their daughters’ participation in sports. When MI needed five runs off the last ball in the season opener, Sajana hit Alice Capsey for a six, instantly becoming a star in the eyes of the uninitiated.

What a stage our ladies have to perform on. It is such a wonderful experience for these ladies to be able to play among the greatest players in the world. I saw Sajana get her honor. Her father drives an autorickshaw, she has a political science degree, and she decided to play cricket. I hope that this serves as an example for parents to support their daughters in pursuing their career goals. WPL is an inspiration for females in all sports, not just cricket, according to Nita Ambani.

“I’ve been playing cricket since 2010, and one of my favorite, most touching moments is seeing these ladies play. “MI is recognized for being a family, and all I advise them to do is go out, have fun, and try your hardest,” she said. Harmanpreet Kaur, the captain of the MI squad who has led from the front in scoring runs this season, was also praised by the club owner. She also praised the support staff for their excellent effort so far, under the direction of head coach Charlotte Edwards and Jhulan Goswami.

“I have to admit that Harmanpreet has really led from the front as One Family. Take a look at the amazing game she just played. The mood in our dressing room has been wonderful, thanks to the efforts of Jhulan and Charlotte, our support personnel. That, in my opinion, enters the field. We play as one because MI is One Family,” Nita said.
