Arshad Nadeem Will Have Knee Surgery Before the Olympics in Paris

Arshad Nadeem, the best javelin thrower in Pakistan, has taken a plane to the UK to have knee surgery in an attempt to recover in time for the Paris Olympics.

Due to a knee issue, Nadeem, who had won the gold medal in the 2022 Commonwealth Games, was forced to miss the Asian Games in China last year.

He said, “I tried rehab programs, but they didn’t work. I have decided to have the knee surgery now because it has been bothering me a lot since last year.”

The 27-year-old is optimistic that he will recover from the procedure in time to compete in the Olympics in Paris.

One Pakistani athlete who has attracted as much notice and admiration as the nation’s cricket players is Nadeem, who set a new Commonwealth Games record in Birmingham in 2022 with a throw of 90.18.

at addition, he finished second against India’s Neeraj Chopra at the World Athletics Championships, making history as the first Pakistani athlete to earn a medal.

With a final throw of 86.1, Arshad had placed fifth in the Tokyo Olympic Games.
