Don’t Miss Rohit Sharma’s Reaction to Virat Kohli’s “Best Fielder Award”

Virat Kohli, the standout player for India, is a live wire on the field whether he is batting or fielding. During the team’s third and final Twenty20 International match against Afghanistan on Wednesday in Bengaluru, Kohli’s job as a fielder was vital. Kohli had many excellent fielding displays, but one that truly stood out was his ability to stop a six at far on.

Karim Janat struck Washington Sundar’s delivery hard down the ground during Afghanistan’s 213-run chase. It seemed for a brief moment that the ball would pass over Kohli’s head, but the star player leaped close to the fence’s edge, picked it up, and tossed it inside before toppling over the ropes. After the valiant effort, Kohli helped his side save five runs.

It was touching to see Rohit Sharma, Washington Sundar, and other teammates react as India’s fielding coach T Dilip gave Kohli the “Fielder of the Series” trophy in the locker room after the game.

Following a thrilling victory against Afghanistan, it’s time to announce the winner of the much anticipated Fielder of the Series Medal.
