Ex-PBKS star Preity Zinta expressed her frustration “2–3 times” in front of the IPL team

In the IPL, Preity Zinta is a very active team owner. She often appears at stadiums supporting the Punjab Kings. The Bollywood star is often seen giving out PBKS items to onlookers. Since the start of the IPL in 2008, she has been a crucial member of the team, and in 2024, her devotion has not diminished. Punjab Kings created history on Friday when they defeated Kolkata Knight Riders by chasing down a world record target of 262.

Irfan Pathan, a former player for the Punjab Kings, said during the game that Preity Zinta owns the squad.

“She understands it’s not simple since she’s a great performer, experienced, and accomplished. She is aware that not all films will be successful. She also realizes that we are not going to win every game.

She seldom ever expressed dissatisfaction, he continued. “So, after a setback, she spoke with us. We played more than 40 games together in my three years with the club, and in those two or three instances, I have only seen her get irate; other than that, she has always maintained her composure,” Irfan said.

“She used to make parathas for the squad in South Africa by hand. We manually made about forty parathas when we defeated the Chennai Super Kings. She is a team owner on a separate plane.”

Preity Zinta has previously claimed to have prepared paranthas for the group.

For the first time I realized how much food you guys consume! The hotel’s paranthas weren’t very nice while we were there in South Africa. I then promised to show everyone how to cook aloo parantha. The lads requested if I could prepare aloo paranthas for them too after seeing it. I promised them that if they won the next game, I would bake them aloo paranthas. They prevailed. I then cooked the crew 120 aloo paranthas. I stopped preparing aloo paranthas after that,” Preity smiled in response.
