Forwards France has recalled Christopher Nkunku and Ousmane Dembélé for the Euro qualifiers

Wednesday saw the return of Ousmane Dembélé and Christopher Nkunku to France’s national squad.

After missing Les Bleus’ previous matches owing to injuries, the two forwards were added to coach Didier Deschamps’ roster for the forthcoming European Championship qualifiers against Gibraltar and Greece.

After consecutive victories against the Netherlands and Ireland in qualification, France now has the lead in Group B. The two-time world winners play Gibraltar in Portugal on June 16 before hosting Greece at the Stade de France three days later.

Nkunku, an RB Leipzig player in the Bundesliga, has been out for many months with a knee ailment, while Barcelona’s Dembele has missed several matches with a hamstring issue.
