IPL 2024: In anticipation of backlash, Mohammad Nabi removes his cryptic Instagram story. See details

All-around batsman Mohammad Nabi of the Mumbai Indians removed his cryptic Instagram repost, criticizing captain Hardik Pandya for not providing him overs in the Indian Premier League 2024 match that was just finished versus Punjab Kings.

Nabi participated in a run-out at Maharaja Yadavindra Singh Cricket Stadium in Tira, Punjab, in addition to making two catches that proved to be game-winning. In the tournament’s current season, Nabi has bowled six overs and conceded 43 runs. However, the off-spinner is failed to claim a wicket.

But MI prevailed over PBKS by nine runs to win their third game of the competition. PBKS lost wickets quickly and were in serious danger when they were 14/4 and 77/6 in the 193 chase, respectively, with their net run rate being affected by a huge margin. Following Shashank’s 25-ball 41, Ashutosh made a quick 25-ball 61, which was also his first fifty in the IPL, to carry on his impressive finishing strokeplay.

However, when he was removed, PBKS were finally bowled out for 183 in 19.1 overs, meaning that the hosts would face loss for the fourth time in the championship in the last over. In a game worthy of commemorating the 17th anniversary of the IPL, Gerald Coetzee and Jasprit Bumrah both claimed three wickets to help MI secure a victory despite a genuine scare from Ashutosh.
