JSM wins football league after defeating Burail Club

At the Sector 46 Sports Complex, JSM Football Club was victorious in the Chandigarh Senior State Football League.

The JSM defeated Burail Football Club 1-0 in their most recent league game. Burail Club’s defense stopped JSM Club’s early onslaught of aggressive strikes. JSM Club had a major victory in the 26th minute when Shobhit scored a goal to end the first half 1-0. The JSM boys won the last league game by holding onto their one-goal advantage after the lemon break. With 22 points, the squad took home the championship.

Golden Football Club trounced Sai Baba Football Club 11-0 in the day’s second league game. Tvesan (19th, 40th, and 53rd) scored three goals for Golden Football Club, while Norem (18th, 68th) scored two. For the club, other strikers were Ramesh (4th, 22nd), Yumnam (12th), Shammi Kumar (21st), Sanjay (24th), and Krishna (57th).

St. Stephen’s Football Club won the title with a second-place finish. The team’s Aditya Sindhi was named the best player in the league. In only nine games, he scored 17 goals. Each of the ten clubs that participated in the league played nine games. St. Stephen’s Club scored 41 goals in seven league games, two of which they lost.
