Kazuma-Thanapet in the semis

In the current M15 Chandigarh ITF World Tour Tennis Men’s (US$15K prize money) Tournament, Thanapet Chanta and Kazuma Kawachi defeated Kabir Hans and Khumoyun Sultanov 6-4 6-4 to advance to the doubles semifinal. Yunseok Jang and Woobin Shin of Korea defeated Parth Aggarwal and Ranjeet Virali Murugesan 6-2, while Siddhant Banthia and Karan Singh overcame Bharat by rallying from a set down. Rishi Reddy and Nishok Kumaran, 4-6, 6-4 [17–15]. Chirag Duhan and Yuichiro Inui were beaten 6-3, 6-2, by Manish Suresh Kumar and Vishnu Vardhan.

In the meantime, top seed Khumoyun Sultanov of Uzbekistan defeated Indian opponent Hitesh Chauhan in a thrilling comeback in the men’s singles pre-quarterfinals. Sultanov was behind 2-6 in the first set but came back to win 6-2, 6-1 in the quarterfinals.

After facing opposition, second seed Ramkumar Ramanathan defeated Korea’s Woobin Shin 6-2, 7-5. Siddharth Vishwakarma had challenges as well, but ultimately defeated Yuvan Nandal 7-6(3), 6-4.

Bang Shuo Yin defeated Dhruv Hirpara in a thrilling encounter, 6-7(2), 6-3, 6-1, while Sasikumar Mukund won 6-2, 4-6, 6-0. Thanapet Chanta of Thailand beat Sidharth Rawat 6-3 6-4, while Nam Hoang Ly of Vietnam triumphed 6-2 6-3 against Nitin Kumar Sinha. Malaysian Mitsuki Wei Kang Leong was upset 6-4 by Chirag Duhan.
