Pro Kabaddi League: Haryana Steelers Fall Short of Patna Pirates

In their Pro Kabaddi League Season 10 encounter in Noida on Friday, the three-time champion Patna Pirates easily defeated the Haryana Steelers, 46–33. The two Pirates that performed the best were Manjeet, with 13 points, and Krishan Dhull, with 5 points. With only five points scored in the first five minutes of play, the game got off to a cagey start. When they reduced the Pirates to one player, the Steelers increased their lead to 8-3. They had a 4-1 lead at that point.

Sachin, however, saved the Pirates by tagging two defenders to save an “all out.”

He then delivered a “super tackle” on Vinay with a masterful single tackle.

At the tenth minute, the Pirates were down 7-8, but three minutes later, captain Neeraj Kumar’s “super tackle” tied the score.

After a moment of brilliance in the fifteenth minute, when he twisted past Ashish and Jaideep Dahiya, the Pirates led 15–10 when the ‘all out’ occurred.

Pirates led by three points, 18–15, entering the half.

During the second half, their defense was particularly strong, recording six tackle points in ten minutes, which set the stage for another ‘all out’.

The Pirates grabbed a commanding 16-point lead that they effortlessly maintained, and from then on it was complete dominance.
