Watch Shahrukh Khan’s Adorable Act for Jos Buttler After He Breaks the Record Against KKR to See It Go Viral

Against Kolkata Knight Riders, Jos Buttler was at his best as he hit his eighth IPL century to enable the Rajasthan Royals escape with a victory. In the process of helping RR defeat KKR by two wickets and pull off the joint-highest successful run chase in IPL history, Butter broke many records in way to a magnificent 107 in 60 balls. Chasing 224, RR were cut down to 121-6 before Buttler and Rovman Powell (26) combined for 57 runs to get them back into the game.

However, Powell was dismissed by Sunil Narine to put KKR ahead. With just bowlers remaining for company and 46 required off 18 balls, Buttler unleashed his best game, smashing Mitchell Starc for eighteen runs. Before getting the last nine runs in the final over to win the match, he scored 19 runs off Harshit Rana’s penultimate over.

The King of Bollywood, nevertheless, did not let the loss stop him from complimenting Jos Buttler. After Jos Buttler scored the game-winning hundred, SRK ran to greet him with a big embrace. On social media, the image of Shahrukh Khan hugging someone has gone viral.

Jos Buttler Shatters Multiple Records

Jos Buttler had an incredible innings, shattering many records along the way. With the century, Jos Buttler became the second player in IPL history to reach the century mark, behind only Virat Kohli, who has amassed eight hundreds. Buttler had previously achieved seven hundreds in the competition. Jos Buttler, meanwhile, topped the rankings with his third IPL century while chasing, surpassing both Ben Stokes and Virat Kohli, who each struck two hundreds.

The victory, however, assisted Rajasthan Royals in maintaining their standing in the standings. With six victories in seven games, RR is comfortably leading the standings. In contrast, KKR maintained their second place despite the loss. The Rajasthan Royals have excelled this season. Their lone loss came the previous game against Gujarat Titans, where GT defeated RR by three wickets thanks to a brilliant display by Rashid Khan.

Jos Buttler reflected on his outstanding hundred, citing the likes of Virat Kohli and MS Dhoni as examples. He stated that whenever he felt pessimistic thoughts creep in, he would remind himself of sports icons and how they never give up until they finish a task. The century was praised as Buttler’s finest IPL hundred as well.

“Today, maintaining faith was the true secret. I felt like I was having some rhythmic difficulties at times. I was really watching the golf, and I saw Max Holmes. I believe the exact opposite and dare to dream whenever the negative ideas start to creep in. That’s what gave me motivation.

There are moments when you feel irritated or self-conscious. I was trying to persuade myself to keep going, to be cool, and that it would all be good. You’ll get your rhythm back. Throughout the IPL, there have been several instances when bizarre things have occurred.

I was trying to emulate players like Dhoni and Kohli, who you’ve seen again in the IPL, by persevering through difficult situations and never giving up. I’ve heard Kumar Sangakkara say this a lot: there’s always a tipping moment. When you are not feeling your best, fighting it and trying to push the issue and give up your wicket is the worst thing you can do.

All he says to me is to remain still; eventually, you’ll find your rhythm, the momentum will shift, or you’ll start going after one stroke. For the last several years, trying to stick with it and not get in my own way has been a major component of my play.

(His best IPL performance?) In my opinion, yes. Jos Buttler said at the post-match presentation, “Anytime you’re not out at the end to see your team through, especially off the last ball, in a big run-chase, very satisfying.”
