18 get ill after eating biryani from a Lucknow restaurant

LUCKNOW: After suffering from food poisoning on Friday night, 18 people—mostly minors between the ages of 8 and 17—were admitted to Balrampur Hospital in Lucknow.

All of the deceased had eaten biryani from a store in the old city district. Their hospitalization was prompted by loose movements and vomiting shortly after.

Ten out of the eighteen patients had minor signs of gastroenteritis that might be caused by food, according to hospital authorities.

After receiving initial care, these individuals were released from the hospital. The other eight individuals, on the other hand, had more serious symptoms and are currently receiving medical care.

All patients’ conditions are stable, according to chief medical superintendent NB Singh, and their release is anticipated shortly.
