A man was slain outside his neighbor’s home for spitting

In a startling incident, a man was reportedly murdered by his neighbor for nothing more than spitting pan masala outside of his home. The event happened in the Sitapur district’s Kotwali Nagar neighborhood.

Anurag, a 28-year-old victim, arrived at his Ambedkar Nagar Colony home late on Wednesday night. He spit outside the home of Narendra Mohan, also known as Lucky, his neighbor. The outcome was a disagreement between Anurag and Narendra. When the argument became heated, Anurag’s neighbor struck him with a sharp instrument. After that, he left Anurag wounded and ran away.

Anurag was taken to the district hospital by his family members in an emergency and admitted to the ward. His health did not get better, however, and the hospital’s physicians sent him to the KGMU Trauma Centre in Lucknow, where he passed away. The grieving family members raised a commotion. Police arrived at the scene after receiving information, and they made an effort to talk sense into the family members who were demonstrating.

They conveyed the information to their colleagues in Sitapur and promised them that appropriate action would be taken. According to Sushil Kumar Singh, CO of the City, Anurag’s spit of pan masala outside his neighbor’s home was the catalyst for the argument.

After the victim passed away, the police filed a case under Section 302 (murder) instead of Section 307 (attempt to kill). The police added that they were now attempting to apprehend Narendra, the accused, who is evading them.

In another instance in Amethi, authorities said that a 33-year-old man’s corpse was discovered on Thursday night hanging from a tree next to a pond.

They further said that Mohammed Ansar, a resident of Phula village in the vicinity of the Mohanganj Kotwali police station, has been identified as the dead.

About eight km from Ansar’s home, the locals saw his corpse hanging from a tree, according to Mohanganj Kotwali SHO Dhirendra Yadav. According to Yadav, the corpse was found by the police and submitted for an autopsy. Ansar was employed at a Mohanganj bakery, according to the authorities. After receiving the autopsy results, the SHO said that further inquiries were being conducted and that more information would be made available.
