A religious leader in Uttar Pradesh advises Muslim women to stay away from salons run by males

Friday, a religious leader in the Saharanpur region of Uttar Pradesh said that Muslim women should refrain from visiting beauty parlors run by males.

According to Mufti Asad Kasmi, getting cosmetics done at these kind of places is “forbidden” and “unlawful” for women.

Kasmi also suggested that ladies choose salons with only female staff members.

A Kanpur lady filed a police complaint this month, stating that after discovering that she underwent eyebrow surgery, her husband had called her from Saudi Arabia and proclaimed triple talaq.

Gulsaiba objected to her husband’s clothing choices and informed the police that he was “old fashioned.”

She said that her spouse spotted her freshly shaped eyebrows during a video conversation that he started.

When he asked her about it, she tried to explain that she had gotten her eyebrows shaped since she thought her face looked better without messy hair, but he became upset and said talaq three times during the video chat.
