UP: Bus strikes e-rickshaw in Barabanki, killing four people

Police said on Thursday that an e-rickshaw was struck by a state transportation bus on the Ayodhya highway in the Safdarganj neighborhood of Barabanki, killing four people.

According to Additional SP Akhilesh Narain Singh, the event happened on Wednesday when a bus traveling from Lucknow to Ayodhya struck an e-rickshaw carrying nine persons, killing four of them.

The victims have been named as Bindara (age 40), Pinki (age 38), Vijay (age 45), and Chandara (age 60).

Five people were hurt in the event, and they were sent to the hospital right away. For better care, three of them were sent to Lucknow.
