UP shocking: Man beheads wife and parades around Barabanki with her severed head

In a heartbreaking occurrence, a man in Barabanki, Uttar Pradesh, decapitated his wife and paraded around the streets with a sickle in one hand and her severed head in the other. According to authorities on Saturday, the accused reportedly used a sickle to hack off his wife’s head because he thought she was having an affair.

Anil Kumar, a native of Basra village, has been identified as the guy. Their marriage lasted for eight years. Authorities said the tragedy happened on Friday in Basra village, where the accused was spotted barefoot carrying his wife’s severed head.

He was also shown in a video that went popular on social media, when he was seen passing by several guys who were standing by the side of the road and displaying them the sickle. After getting information, the Fatehpur police arrived on the scene and took him into custody. Dinesh Kumar Singh, the Superintendent of Police in Barabanki, subsequently verified the accused’s apprehension.

Anil Kumar, the accused, has been taken into custody. Additionally, the woman’s corpse has been found and is being examined post-mortem. The couple has two kids and has been married for eight years, according to SP Singh.”We are further looking into the matter,” he said.
