UP’s Banda: Husband, Stepsons, and Nephew Arrested For Beheading Woman Over Illicit Affair

Police said on Friday that they had discovered a woman’s decapitated corpse with four of her fingers missing in Chamraha hamlet.

According to Superintendent of Police Ankur Agarwal, the lady, who was between 30 and 35 years old, was only partly dressed and her head was discovered some distance from her body.

She was recognized as Maya Devi, the wife of Ramkumar Ahirwar, a local of the Madhya Pradesh hamlet of Pahra in the Chhatarpur district.

A preliminary inquiry led police to suspect the family members.

According to the SP, Ramkumar, the husband, together with his sons Suraj Prakash and Brijesh and nephew Udaibhan, admitted to hatching the scheme to kill the wife.

Ramkumar testified that Maya Devi, who was his second wife, had an extramarital connection with one of his kids and wanted to begin a similar relationship with the other son.

As a result of their rage, the four drove Maya Devi to Chamraha hamlet in a Jeep-style vehicle, where they killed her by strangling her and axing off her head. She had four of her fingers cut as well.

The police have located the stolen car and axe, according to the SP.
