Captured on Camera: Swiggy Delivery Boy Takes Nike Sneakers Kept Outside Gurugram Apartment, Company Responds

A startling incident involving a Swiggy delivery executive snatching a pair of sneakers was captured on video in Gurugram. In the video, which was uploaded on X on April 9, user Rohit Arora claimed that a Swiggy Instamart delivery employee had taken his friend’s black “Nike” sneakers from the doorway when he had come to deliver an order.

Before perpetrating the heist, the delivery guy is shown in the video ringing the doorbell, ascending the stairs, and making sure no one is there. He delivers the package, strolls down the stairs idly, washes his face with a towel, comes back to the location, takes the shoes, tucks them inside his towel, and disappears from view. The whole event was recorded by the home’s CCTV system.

But according to Rohit Arora, the buddy of the individual whose shoes were taken was upset since the firm was not even answering the message or the complaint made about the situation. The X user who had uploaded the video and reported the issue to Swiggy said, “I’m still awaiting their response.” Additionally, he posted a screenshot of his grievance on the social networking site X.

The video gained thousands of views when it was uploaded online, and people began sharing their thoughts in the post’s comments area. Swiggy Cares responded to his tweet after it went viral, stating, “We expect better from our delivery partners.” Please DM us so that we may better serve you.
