Cricket fans fight violently in Narendra Modi Stadium during India vs. Pakistan because of a seating issue

In the World Cup, India kept up its perfect winning streak over Pakistan’s cricket team. On the streaming website, more than 3 crore viewers tuned in to see the magic. The crowd at Narendra Modi Stadium erupted in jubilation for the home team. While they were few in number in the stadium, Pakistani cricket fans gathered in significant numbers online. However, it seems that India vs. Pakistan was not the only contentious conflict that occurred. A video of a furious altercation between two spectators at the Narendra Modi Stadium is presently going viral.

The caption claims that the altercation began because one guy placed his legs on the seat of another. A group of individuals wearing blue jerseys can be seen in the video arguing angrily. News18, however, is unable to vouch for the legitimacy of the footage.

As the whole stadium yells for the squad, the mood among the group members seems to be rather tense.

The video has received thousands of views since it was posted. But this is not the first time that a brawl of this kind has occurred during the game. A video that leaked earlier during the India vs. Afghanistan match showed a bunch of Indian supporters fighting after an argument.

It seemed that numerous supporters wearing blue jerseys were yelling abuse at a fan wearing a red shirt. This turned into an argumentative conversation. Uncertainty surrounds the exact reason for the violent altercation. Some individuals hypothesized that it may have happened because a fan mistakenly sang Naveen-ul-Haq’s name for Kohli’s.
