Land Sinks 80–100 Feet in Bikaner Overnight; Officials Search for Answers

Locals in the Bikaner district of Lunkaransar are terrified after learning about a startling instance. Reports state that on April 16, when the locals awoke, they saw that the village farm’s land had fallen between eighty and one hundred feet.

This occurrence happened in the Bikaner district’s Sahagrasar village, Lunkaransar. Once in his field, a farmer was the first to see this happen. On his property, he saw that around 1.5 acres of ground had sunk within. This hole swallowed up the nearby trees and the road. He then told everyone around about this, and everyone arrived to the location.

Following the event, several authorities, including the police administration, were placed under custody.

Land subsidence episodes often only happen in mined regions. But because there are no mines in this region, the fact that this occurrence happened on a farm surprised the locals. The sole source of income for the locals is farming.

Because of the ground subsidence, there is now a dread among the local population. How the soil suddenly sank will only become clear following an inquiry into this land subsidence issue.

Even though a lot of people think that a well formerly existed here, it sunk. According to the most recent information available, the hole on this property is currently becoming deeper. Geologists have arrived at the location and are looking at the situation as a whole.

In the meanwhile, that area’s video is currently trending on social media. Many locals began reaching out after learning about the location, creating films of the pit, and sharing them on social media. A young person is said to have fallen into this deep hole while creating social media clips.

Following this, the police intervened and filed a formal complaint against the young person. In this domain, Section 144 was also enforced by the police administration. In addition, fence has been installed in this area to ensure the safety of the locals.
