Making momos with a toy kitchen set while living in a dorm is the epitome of jugaad

A variety of experiences come with living in a hostel. While living in a hostel gives you the chance to make plenty of memories with your roommates, the cuisine is still often regarded as being of subpar quality. For many years, students have lamented the meals’ blandness. Today’s kids are accustomed to using an electric kettle in their rooms to prepare a basic meal. Some one-pot meals, such rice and quick noodles, are simple to prepare. When you want something more enticing, it might be challenging to find it in a tiny space, however. However, some hotels have come up with a fix. With their resource-efficient “Jugaad” momo recipe, they have astounded the internet.

Ritika Sau and Chandana Pandit uploaded the popular video on Instagram. They are shown using the limited tools in their hostel room to create the well-known street-style momos. They chop and store veggies in storage crates. The filling is cooked in a small, nonstick skillet. Then, using a small set of kitchen equipment and numerous plates, roll the momo sheets. Finally, after everything is prepared, they steam the momos using their electric kettle. You’ll be astonished at the outcome. The caption said: “POV: You stay in a hostel.”

About 5.8 million people have seen the movie, and some viewers are praising the ladies for their creative approaches and efforts. “Girls like them make chappan bhog with a kitchen set,” one of them added. Someone another said, “Finally, I have seen the actual use of child’s play kitchen set.” It was said, “Thanks for letting me know is kettle me sab kuch bna skte hai.”

Some jokingly said, “When ‘Hostel mein padai chorke baaki sab kuch hota hai’ taken seriously,” “Late-night craving following drug use,” The following statements are true: “This struggle is real,” and “Hostel life means jugad with fun life.”

Others commenters suggested that they should just order the meal from a restaurant or go out and about: “itni mehnat se acha 20 rupay dekr bahar se hi kha leti,” “behen issey acha zomato krleti.”

at the comments section, a person added another piece of equipment that might work well at a hotel: “Camping cookware are ideal for students staying in hostels because they take up less space than a kettle.”
