Police Raid Hotel After Man Seen Carrying “Large Knife,” Discovering It’s A Harry Potter Wand

A family in the UK reported a terrifying incident to the local police after finding themselves in a difficult circumstance. The family said they saw a guy at a motel wandering around with a big knife. After responding to the emergency call promptly, the local police learned that the weapon was a Potterhead’s duplicate wand from the Harry Potter books. Cris Caixinha, the individual who reported the incident to the police, said that the guy did, in fact, have a knife, which terrified his kids. Subsequently, Leicestershire Police informed the public that Voldemort was nowhere to be seen while posting a funny account of the occurrence on Facebook. The incident reportedly happened at a Marriott facility, despite the cops not disclosing the exact location.

“I attended a large hotel in Enderby this morning with a number of firearms officers, following a report of a male inside near the lifts carrying ‘a large knife,'” a Blaby police officer wrote. We swiftly ascertained that it was a wand-wielding Harry Potter devotee after making inquiries. Fortunately, nobody was harmed and “Voldemort” showed no signs of appearing.”

In an interview with Leicestershire Live, Cris Caixinha spoke about the terrifying encounter he and his family had at a hotel when they saw a guy who seemed to be in his 40s. He said the guy was holding the knife like a sword, standing with his legs apart in shorts and a shirt. Caixinha and his family fled to their room out of fear for their lives. They then got in touch with the hotel reception, who then called 911. Though Caixinha was first afraid, the authorities eventually reassured her that it was all a misunderstanding and that it was really someone using a wand. The guy was certain that what they saw was a long orange knife rather than a wand.
