This is the reason an Aligarh e-rickshaw driver was forced to sell his 11-year-old child

According to recent events, Rajkumar, an e-rickshaw driver in Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh, has sold his kid because of difficult circumstances. The information came from the Mahua Kheda Police Station. Currently, Rajkumar is wearing a sign around his neck that reads, painfully, “I have to sell my son.” He and his family are at Gandhi Park in Aligarh, near the Company Bagh crossroads.

The terrible circumstances attracted a worried throng to the spot where Rajkumar and his family were sitting, and passersby asked why they were acting thus hopelessly. With a sad heart, Rajkumar revealed that he had been harassed by moneylenders for a long time and felt forced to take drastic measures. He was driven to the edge by these predators of the money because of his piling bills.

Rajkumar described how his financial problems had become worse after he was physically abused and his family was forcefully removed from their home by hooligans who had been dispatched by the moneylenders. Being the family’s only provider, Rajkumar felt helpless and alone since the police didn’t appear to care about his situation. He was so desperate that he considered taking extreme measures, including selling his 11-year-old son, Chetan, for a certain amount of money.

Rajkumar disclosed some details about his trauma, saying that he is from the area of Neehar Meera National Senior Secondary School, which is close to Asadpur Kayam and falls under the Mahua Kheda police station in Aligarh. He had previously borrowed money to buy property from the people in the Devi Ka Nagla district. Rajkumar gave the lenders his word that he would pay back the loan over time in installments.

Regretfully, Rajkumar’s e-rickshaw was seized by one of the moneylenders who disregarded the conditions of their agreement.

Rajkumar supports his family and provides for his kids by working as a manual laborer on occasion and operating the e-rickshaw for rent. By selling his kid, he intends to raise between Rs. 6 and Rs. 8 lakh, which he says would help him pay off his obligations. In addition, he longs to offer his daughter an education, plan her marriage, and provide for the necessities of his household.
