The imaginative culinary interpretation of the movie was posted on Instagram under the Essange username. The brief video demonstrated how the pastry chef constructed the opulent Raichand residence—seen in the movie—on a rectangular cake foundation. Next, the baker carefully sketched a sun on the cake, alluding to the well-known hymn Suraj Hua Maddham. In keeping with her creative vision, she deftly represented the film’s Delhi location using famous sites like Qutub Minar and India Gate.

The pastry chef then expertly drew Big Ben and London Bridge before introducing the protagonists to their voyage to London in the second part. The chef included a little helicopter on the cake to symbolize the opening scene of Shah Rukh Khan coming home, along with a dish of laddoos and an aarti thali, which were significant parts of the movie. The figures in the center of the cake were created by the chef last. All that was written in the caption was, “Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gam on a cake.”

After nearly 1.6 million views, the Bollywood-inspired cake became viral, and people couldn’t help but admire its inventiveness.

A user said, “Whoa, this is really amazing! One person said, “Your composition and picking up all the little details is everything. What an amazing talent and amount of patience you have.” Another said the same thing.

Fans identified several things that the pastry chef overlooked, despite the fact that she paid close attention to many in the movie. “Where’s the gamlaaa (nahin vase)?” inquired one individual. Seriously, this is very lovely. “You forgot the bench lekin mast hai,” said another person.

One enthralled admirer shouted, “I’d never eat this and frame it and keep it forever,” while another did the same. “Whoa, girl, this is incredible.”

On a cake, several people also mentioned additional Shah Rukh Khan movies they would want to watch. “Do a Kal no na ho cake,” another person said, while another added, “I would love to see an Om shanti om one.”
