Two detained for firing shots at Salman Khan’s residence

Two people from Gujarat have been taken into custody in connection with gunfire at Bollywood star Salman Khan’s Mumbai home, the police said on Tuesday.

Bihar citizens Vicky Gupta (age 24) and Sagar Pal (age 21) were apprehended late on Monday night in the Kutch district’s Mata No Madh hamlet. The two were apprehended by combined Kutch-West and Mumbai police teams using sophisticated monitoring.

According to a preliminary investigation, Pal and Gupta were employed by the group of imprisoned mobster Lawrence Bishnoi to shoot at Khan’s residence, he added. According to Bagadiya, Gupta was communicating with the gang members when Pal fired the rounds.

On Sunday morning at approximately five in the morning, two individuals on motorcycles shot four bullets outside of Khan’s 58-year-old home at the Galaxy Apartment in the Bandra neighborhood of Mumbai, then they took off.

According to an official, they had hired a home in Panvel, Navi Mumbai, where the actor owns a farmland, for a month.

As part of their investigation into the firing event, the police questioned three people from Navi Mumbai on Monday: the owner of the residence, the former owner of the two-wheeler used in the crime, the agent who brokered the transaction, and numerous others. The motorcycle was left outside Mumbai’s Mount Mary Church.
