According to Nitish Kumar, “irregularities” occurred when RJD shared power, and the matter is now being looked into

On Saturday, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar said that several anomalies that occurred during the RJD’s power-sharing agreement with the JD(U) were brought to his attention and were now being looked into.

He was replying to questions from the media on the Bihar government’s directive to examine all decisions made by the ministries under the previous ‘Mahagathbandhan’ government in the state, which were led by former Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav and two RJD ministers, Lalit Yadav and Ramanand Yadav.

“There have been irregularities (Gadbadiyaan), and this will not be allowed. Things are being looked into “the CM said.

The officials of the Health, Road Construction, Urban Development, Housing, and Rural Works departments have been requested to review the decisions made during the previous grand alliance government in the state, according to a letter dated February 16 that was sent by the CM-led Cabinet Secretariat department. Tejashwi Yadav served as the head of these departments.

In addition, the administration has requested that senior officials in the departments of Mines and Geology and Public Health Engineering (PHED) examine the choices made by former RJD Ministers Lalit Yadav and Ramanand Yadav during their tenure in office.

The leader of JD (U) knocked down the claim made by RJD president Lalu Prasad that “doors are always open” for him, claiming that he always has cordial connections with both friends and opponents.

“I keep up strong contacts with opposition party leaders and friends. Every time I see them, I shake hands with opposition party leaders and allies. That’s all,” said Kumar. After seeing Lalu Prasad by coincidence on Thursday in the state legislature, Kumar was seen mingling with the politician, days after he left the grand alliance and established the NDA administration in the state.

Nitish and Lalu, the two leaders, clasped hands cordially during their short interaction. Days after Nitish Kumar split from Grand Alliance, Lalu Prasad said on Friday that “doors are always open” for him. When asked whether he would give Nitish another opportunity in the future, Lalu said, “‘Ab aayenge toh dekhenge’.” Doors are open at all times.

Kumar, who has since joined the NDA, said that he agreed with the prime minister’s prediction that the alliance headed by the BJP would get more than 400 seats in the next Lok Sabha elections. “Yes, in comparison to the Lok Sabha seats it gained in the 2019 elections, the BJP will undoubtedly win more seats this time. Mujhe Pura Bharosa Hai means “I have complete confidence.”

Regarding the rift within the opposition INDIA alliance, Kumar said, “They (the INDIA bloc leaders) were not doing anything. That explains why the partnership is beginning to fracture. It was not my decision at all what name this alliance was given (INDIA). They made their own decision. I’m not involved with them anymore.I have returned to this place.
