Armed robbery by security officers in Bihar’s Gaya district

According to officials, security personnel stopped a significant Naxalite assault after finding a massive stash of weapons and ammunition in the Gaya region of Bihar.

“The find was made during a major search operation in Gaya’s Lutua region in response to particular intelligence inputs. The Pandra of Lutua forest region was the target of a combing operation by a special team made up of CoBRA 205, CRPF 159 Battalion, STF, and District Police, according to a statement from the Gaya Police on Tuesday.

Following the search, 100 7.62 mm ammunition from 303 rifles were found. The ammo was kept in a certain location.

According to the statement, security officers carried out a search at the other end of the Pandra hill while continuing their operations based on information.

Three large IEDs were also discovered at another location during the heightened searches and were neutralized by security personnel, according to the police.

According to the announcement, the search effort also turned up a tunnel dug over the slope. According to investigators, the Naxalites most likely utilized the tunnel as a hideaway.

13,800 detonators that were stashed in five plastic bags were found during the operation by the security officers.

Four bundles of cordex wire, a black Naxalite military outfit, and ammo were also found there, according to the announcement, although they were all burned right afterwards.

From the Naxalites’ hideaway, the security forces also retrieved two smartphones and two walkie-talkie units.

According to the press statement, the discovery of the massive stash of weapons and ammunition proves that the Naxalites were getting ready to launch a significant assault on the security forces.

“The evil plan of the Naxalites has failed. According to the announcement, the search operation against them is still ongoing.
