BPSC TRE 3.0: Paper leak causes exam cancellation for both shifts; new dates will be announced soon

Due to rumors of a paper leak, the Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has canceled its teacher recruitment test. Applicants said that following the test, which was administered in two shifts on March 15, the paper was leaked. But the Economic Offenses Unit’s research has shown that the paper was leaked on March 13 and 14, which was prior to the test. In this instance, 266 people have been taken into custody thus far.

The test was administered in two shifts: from 2:30 pm to 5 pm on the first shift and from 9:30 am to noon on the second. Exams for both shifts are now canceled. Over 5,81,000 applications were reportedly submitted for the teacher recruitment examination’s third phase. Out of all of them, over a lakh applications are for the paper I exam. The goal of BPSC’s recruiting campaign is to fill 86,474 teaching positions in schools.

While looking into the situation, Bihar Police learned about a group that was engaged in organizing the test and leaking the papers. According to the police, an exam solver gang released the paper well in advance of the test, and many applicants also received the solutions in addition to the question paper. The commission ultimately chose to cancel the test after the Bihar Police made many arrests in relation to this matter.

The commission informed PTI that on March 15, the EOU had conducted raids at many locations in Hazaribagh. The EOU sent the commission its first information on the question paper leak at around 2:30 p.m. on March 15. Prior to that, the first shift test concluded at 12 p.m., and the second shift exam began at 2.30 p.m., according to BPSC, which spoke with the news agency.

The revised dates for the teacher recruitment test will be announced by BPSC when the time comes.
