In Buxar, a coach of a goods train derailed; an investigation is ongoing

On Monday night in Bihar’s Buxar district, a carriage of a freight train derailed close to Dumaron station, according to authorities. The event occurred when the freight train was traveling from Deen Dayal Upadhyay Junction to Fatuha through Buxar, according to a railway spokeswoman.

According to the authorities, the loco pilot had to use the emergency brake to stop the train after four of the coaches’ wheels derailed. A group of top railway officials arrived at the scene to examine the situation after the event.

As soon as the additional crew members arrived, work began to reroute the wrecked coach. A cargo train seems to have derailed off the track in images posted by the news agency ANI, although the precise cause of the event is yet unclear.

This incident happened a short time after a passenger train derailed last week in Buxar, Bihar. On October 11, the North East Express, which was traveling from Buxar to Kamakhya, derailed, resulting in the deaths of four individuals and the injuries of 42 others.

There have been a number of theories put up on the circumstances behind the train disaster, and an inquiry is now ongoing. The governments of Assam and Bihar worked tirelessly to aid the accident victims and wounded.

Three trains derailed in Balasore in India’s Odisha state last year, causing one of the worst railway accidents of the century that killed over 280 people and injured many more.

The collision included a freight train, the Bengaluru-Howrah Super Fast Express, and the Shalimar-Chennai Central Coromandel Express. On June 2, at about 7:00 p.m., the Coromandel Express struck a stopped goods train, derailing the majority of its coaches close to the Bahanaga Bazar station. The accident’s atrocities continue to have an impact on the country.
