Nitish Kumar in Delhi today; NDA’s Bihar seat-sharing announcement is probably coming

In order to finalize the National Democratic Alliance’s (NDA) seat-sharing plan in the state for the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar will leave for Delhi today and begin a four-day tour.

The national elections scheduled by the Election Commission of India will take place in seven stages on April 19, 26, May 7, 13, 20, 25, and June 1. These phases will determine the results of the elections for the 40 Lok Sabha seats in Bihar.

the six seats that the BJP-led NDA had swept five years prior: Arrah, Begusarai, Patna Sahib, Pataliputra, Kishanganj, and Hajipur.

The Chief Minister is slated to return to Patna on Thursday, and he is expected to arrive in the nation’s capital around 8.15 p.m. tonight.

Nitish Kumar, who rejoined the BJP in January, is scheduled to make the seat-sharing announcement while he is still in Delhi. His visit coincides with recent talks to deliberate on seat allocation that took place in Patna and Delhi.

Tejashwi Yadav, the leader of the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) and a former deputy chief minister of Bihar, will also be in Delhi today to take part in the last round of seat-sharing negotiations with the Congress and Left.

We anticipate an agreement in the next few days.

The head of the RJD said that Congress MP Rahul Gandhi “tried to deliver a message which is quite significant in today’s days…to save India’s Constitution, brotherhood, and to defeat hatred” during his speech at the Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra’s last event in Mumbai on Sunday night.

Tejashwi Yadav said, “We are very confident and have made all arrangements for the Lok Sabha elections,” in an interview with the ANI news agency on Sunday. The results of this election in Bihar will surprise everyone.

“Over the last ten years, what has the federal government done for Bihar? The work completed in the last 17 months was not completed in the previous 17 years. The Chief Minister was among those who criticized the job done by the BJP-led NDA, and Bihar did not get any special treatment,” he said.
