9 million Jio customers will switch to the 5G network

According to the business on Friday, about 90 million Reliance Jio users switched to Jio’s 5G network.

The business said in its Q3 FY24 results that around 25% of Jio’s mobility data traffic is being handled on its 5G network, with the remaining 5G data being carried on its own 5G+4G combo core. “Jio has successfully implemented 5G technology at the quickest rate ever seen globally.

Strong early demand and user engagement have been seen for JioAirFiber, particularly in rural and underdeveloped tier 3/4 towns. According to Reliance Jio Infocomm Chairman Akash M. Ambani, “digital technologies and customized products for all customer cohorts will ensure sustainable industry growth.”
