Among the top 10 ambitions for women are financial stability and property ownership: survey

According to the newest poll, among women’s top 10 priorities are travel, financial stability, health, and a work-life balance.

The average number of life objectives for Indian women, in both metros and non-metros, has increased by more than twice as much. This is somewhat more than for males.

According to the Bajaj Allianz Life Insurance poll titled “Life Goals Preparedness,” a resounding 86% of participants gave top priority to work-life balance, followed by their children’s education, owning their ideal house, their health and fitness, and their vacation aspirations.

According to the report, 71% of women prioritize giving their family financial stability. Additionally, it said that 46% of women, up from 39% in 2019, expressed doubt about achieving their life objectives, indicating a larger confidence disparity than that shown in males.

Furthermore, 49% of women look to professionals for thorough financial planning counsel. The poll also revealed that women’s top life objective for 2023 would still be to provide financial stability for their families.

Furthermore, over 42% of women seek a healthy work-life balance, and 62% of women wish to live a quiet existence. Goals for travel and personal wellness have become more important to women.

According to the poll, three out of every five women want to support their children’s education, and more than one in two of them want to buy their ideal house.

Nearly one in two women said that in 2023, having good physical and mental health is a priority in life.

The poll found that 70% of life objectives are best suited for investing in life insurance, although over one-third of women desire to pursue travel aspirations. A total of 49% of women state that they need professional financial guidance.

Of the women surveyed, 53% said they needed professional assistance in detail about financial stability for their families, and 55% said they needed expert help regarding making plans for their children’s education.

For the Life Goal, about 60% of women need professional guidance in order to make retirement plans.

Notably, the poll also revealed that more than 50% of respondents found it challenging to fulfill their life objectives. 1,936 women from 13 cities—including metropolises, Tier-1 and rising Tier-2 cities—were included in the poll.

New Delhi, Ludhiana and Bareilly, Kolkata, Patn, Bhubaneswar, Mumbai, Surat, Amravati, Chennai, Bangalore, Madurai, and Guntur were among the cities included in the study.
