Blaupunkt TV: The CEO of Super Plastronics is staking a lot on Google TV support and improved audio in a competitive market

Super Plastronics Pvt. Ltd. is the only Indian business that is competitively challenging Samsung, LG, Sony, and other TV manufacturers. Indians are striving to purchase 55-inch or larger TVs, but they lack the funds to purchase brands like LG, Samsung, Sony, and others. Here, particularly on Amazon and Flipkart, companies like Kodak, Blaupunkt, and Thompson are emerging as the new favorites.

However, for the average Indian who just wants a big LED TV in his living room to watch movies and cricket matches without spending a lot of money, brands like Blaupunkt, Kodak, and Thomson naturally become their top choice. Of course, many tech enthusiasts may think that nothing can match the quality of LG or Sony TVs.

Another factor to take into account is the realization by Indian consumers that low-cost TVs from manufacturers like LG, Samsung, Sony, and others sacrifice a lot of features and picture quality, and that if they really want a high-quality TV from these manufacturers, they will need to spend at least Rs 1 lakh.

Noida-based The brand licensee for five global brands, including the French brand Thomson (which is now operated by Technicolor SA), the German brand Blaupunkt, the American brand Kodak, is Super Plastronics Pvt. Ltd.

In an interview with Debashis Sarkar, Editor, News18 Tech, Avneet Singh Marwah, Director and CEO of Super Plastronics Pvt. Ltd., discusses how his firm offers not just reasonably priced TVs but also cutting-edge software capabilities for the same price. The TV remote is another thing the business wants to modify.

The TV remote is annoying regardless of how costly or inexpensive your new huge LED TV may be. The typical TV remote might be difficult to write on, and voice input isn’t always accurate. Thankfully, this will change over the next several years, according to Avneet Singh Marwah.

Marwah predicts that soon, TV remotes will no longer be offered by any companies; instead, voice control and a special smartphone app would be required. He continued by saying that when Google TV becomes popularity in India over the next several years, TV software would significantly advance. In case you were wondering, Super Plastronics is the sole Indian company that has cooperated with Google to provide Google TV software. Google TV is now supported by Blaupunkt TV.

The CEO of Blaupunkt claims that the increased audio quality of their TVs is another important USP. In his opinion, TV audio output should be improved so that consumers won’t need to purchase a soundbar.
