By June, Jaguar will introduce a new portfolio that includes SUVs and electric vehicles

This summer, Jaguar plans to significantly alter its lineup of four-wheelers.

The British luxury carmaker intends to completely concentrate on creating electric cars (EVs) in light of the current global transportation scene.

In a few weeks, Jaguar, which produces some of the best sedans and sports cars in the world, will stop producing those models at its Castle Bromwich facility near Birmingham.

With the XE, XF, and F-Type series no longer being produced, Jaguar’s lineup will only consist of sports utility vehicles (SUVs), such as the I-Pace, E-Pace, and F-Pace, all of which will be offered this year. By June of this year, Motorbeam claims that Jaguar’s current internal combustion engine (ICE) models will be phased out.

India and other global regions have seen significant demand for the XE, XF, and F-Type models. Until the business releases a new lineup of EVs, buyers will be able to purchase these vehicles, according to Joe Eberhardt, CEO of Jaguar North America. Without a doubt, it will facilitate a seamless transfer.

But Jaguar will continue to offer models with gas engines. It plans to introduce battery-electric vehicles (BEVs) as part of a new lineup shortly. The duration of the company’s ICE models’ availability on the market is yet unknown. After the EV portfolio is introduced, it is also anticipated that the firm will relocate its manufacturing facilities from the Castle Bromwich plant to a new location.

This calculated action reflects Jaguar’s commitment to aligning client preferences with its offers and its flexibility in responding to changing market circumstances. With its ambitions to begin releasing a range of electric cars in 2025, the UK-based automaker is ushering in a new era for Jaguar.

In the first half of 2025, Jaguar plans to introduce an electric GT vehicle with four seats. This electric vehicle will have a top-tier engine that can produce up to 600 horsepower. This EV is expected to provide the Porsche Taycan with fierce competition when it launches on the international market. Next year, the business plans to launch a big saloon vehicle and a premium SUV, both of which will be constructed on the exclusive JEA platform.
