Elon Musk will meet with two space companies from Hyderabad on Monday in New Delhi

Elon Musk, the CEO of SpaceX and Tesla, is scheduled to visit Hyderabad on April 22 and is anticipated to meet representatives of two space firms established there, Skyroot Aerospace and Dhruva Space.

The meeting will take place in New Delhi, according to Pawan Kumar Chandana, co-founder and CEO of Skyroot Aerospace, the first private business in India to construct a launch vehicle, in an interview with TNIE. Representatives of Dhruva Space, however, declined to comment.

Regarding the meeting’s agenda, Pawan said that they were excited to discuss openly and to present the firm’s qualifications and skills. He went on, “We are open to any possibilities or opportunities, but what comes out of this is not in our control for the time being.” The CEO said that the visit by the tech billionaire is evidence of the expanding strength and stature of India’s space industry, which is being fueled by the accomplishment of historic missions and initiatives. ~

“India’s growth in the space sector is demonstrated by the Musk visit.”

The co-founder of Skyroot remarked, “It is a clear indication of the journey of the space sector in the near future.”

Last month, Skyroot Aerospace conducted a successful test firing of the Vikram-1 space launch vehicle’s second stage. The first launch vehicle created by the private sector in India will be Vikram-1, which is fully designed and produced there.

The Telangana government has been in talks with Tesla officials to establish a unit in the state, according to IT and Industries Minister D Sridhar Babu, amid rumors that the company is sending a team to India to look for potential sites for an EV facility.

“Excited to meet with India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi!” Musk did not specify the date of the visit when he posted on X last week.
