In June 2023, Odisha receives OGST and IGST settlement of Rs. 1732.49 billion

With the mop-up of OGST and IGST Settlement of Rs. 1732.49 Cr during June 2023, Odisha has shown rise of 25.13 percent.

According to the Odisha Commissionerate of CT and GST, “The State has collected OGST and IGST Settlement to the tune of Rs 1732.49 Cr during June 2023 as against collection of Rs 1384.59 Cr during June 2022 recording a growth of 25.13 Percent.” The progressive collection (OGST + IGST Settlement) that the State would keep till June 2023 is Rs 5661.97 Cr, up from Rs 4350.88 Cr until June 2022, representing a jump of 30.13%, according to the statement.

In terms of Gross GST Collection (OGST+IGST+SGST+Cess), the State reported a collection of Rs 4379.97 Cr during June 2023 compared to a collection of Rs 3965.28 Cr for the similar month of June 2022, representing a growth rate of 10.46%.

The cumulative Gross GST collection up to June 2023 is Rs 13813.44 Cr, up from Rs 12831.26 Cr up to June 2022, representing increase of 7.65%.
The total amount collected under all the laws regulated by the Commissionerate of CT & GST, Odisha, including GST, VAT, entry tax, and profession tax, was Rs 2865.01 Cr in June 2023 as opposed to Rs 2516.81 Cr in June 2022, representing a growth rate of 13.84%.

In comparison to the 15.33 lakh waybills issued in June 2022, 18.79 lakh waybills were generated in June 2023, representing an increase of 22.56 percent, according to authorities.
