Intel India Appoints a New Business Managing Head

Santhosh Viswanathan was named Managing Director (MD) of Intel’s India region business, the company said on Friday. To take advantage of the nation’s tremendous development and economic potential, the corporation announced in March that India will become a distinct area under its SMG (Sales, Marketing, and Communications Group) organization.

According to the corporation, Viswanathan, VP and MD of the India area, will serve as the new region’s leader and use his experience to promote value and customer-centricity. Viswanathan has a master’s degree in business administration in addition to an engineering degree in industrial engineering and management.

“We are enabling our teams, including our strong engineering base in India, to work closely with our customers by creating a separate region,” Viswanathan said in a statement.

The hiring of a new SMG leader for the Asia Pacific and Japan (APJ) region was also announced by the firm.

Hans Chuang was named General Manager (GM) of SMG Japan and Asia Pacific. He will be in charge of Intel’s whole operations in the area, which will include boosting revenue, interacting with the community to generate new business prospects, and fortifying current links with partners and customers.

“Our long-term success here in the APJ region will depend on how well we leverage the strength of our partners and how dedicated we are to creating an open ecosystem that serves our customers in a transparent and secure manner,” Chuang said.

He graduated with an MBA from McGill University and a B.S. in electrical engineering from the University of British Columbia.
