Alexandr Wang, the CEO of Scale AI, must be well-known to you. At age 25, the guy holds the record for becoming the youngest self-made billionaire in the world. His net wealth, which is said to be about $1 billion, is solely obtained from Scale AI, according to reports. However, did you know that the business also boasts a co-founder who is regarded as the second-richest self-made woman in the world? Her name is Lucy Guo.

In a recent Forbes list of self-made wealthy women, Lucy Guo came in second place, after Kylie Jenner. The New York Post claims that Guo started learning how to code in the second grade. Guo’s parents, who are both electrical engineers, discouraged her from pursuing her love. Because of the obstacles women encounter in the profession, her mother specifically discouraged her from pursuing a job in technology. She continued to study computer science at Carnegie Mellon University but dropped out to seek a Thiel Fellowship, established by PayPal co-founder Peter Thiel. However, this did not cause her to reconsider her views.

Lucy formerly worked at the question-and-answer website Quora. She also became the first female designer for Snapchat. After that, she and Alexandr Wang, whom she had met while working at Quora, co-founded the artificial intelligence company Scale AI in 2016. Wang and Guo were included on Forbes’ 30 under 30 list for 2018. Later, Guo departed Scale AI. Nevertheless, she still owns 6% of the company.

She co-founded the startup company Backend Capital in 2019, according to Forbes. In April 2022, Lucy launched the software startup Moment. Moment is backed, according to its website, by Anti Fund, a venture finance company founded by Geoffrey Woo and Jake Paul.

One of the fittest CEOs in the world, Lucy is also well renowned for that. In order to demonstrate her stamina, she once uploaded a three-hour HIIT video on YouTube. She said in the video’s description that in addition to jogging 16-32 km (10-20 miles) every day, she also does another HIIT or strength training session before supper. Additionally, she works out for 5.5 hours every day.
