Wearing saffron, the Second New Delhi-Varanasi Vande Bharat Has New Features: Railroad Min

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the second Vande Bharat train between Varanasi and Innovative Delhi on Monday at 2:15 p.m. The train is saffron in color and has many innovative amenities, according to a statement from the Northern Railway (NR).

According to a source in the Railway Ministry, “This is the second saffron-colored Vande Bharat train that the Railway Ministry is going to launch in the country.”

Along with the press release, the Northern Railway released a picture of the train that was colored saffron. Furthermore, according to the NR, “the train has superior passenger amenities such as individual touch-based reading lights, concealed roller blinds, plush interiors, bio-vacuum toilets with touch-free conveniences, diffused LED lighting, GPS-based passenger information system, and onboard Wi-Fi infotainment.”

Better heat ventilation and air conditioning with a UV light for a germ-free air supply are features of this system. According to the statement, the intelligent air conditioning system modifies the cooling based on occupancy and climatic circumstances.

Its first voyage, from Varanasi to New Delhi, is scheduled on December 18 at 2:15 pm. However, the train will normally depart from Varanasi for New Delhi at 6:00 am six days a week, with the exception of Tuesdays.

After 55 minutes, at 3:00 pm, the train will leave for Varanasi, having arrived in New Delhi at 2:05 pm. At 11:05 p.m., it will arrive at its target station. Currently operating between New Delhi and Varanasi, the first Vande Bharat train leaves Delhi at 6:00 am and arrives at its target stop at 2:00 pm.

It leaves at 3:00 p.m. for New Delhi and arrives there at 11:00 p.m. It operates six days a week, with Thursday off.

On September 24, the Railways introduced the inaugural Vande Bharat train, which ran between Kasaragod and Thiruvananthapuram in Kerala. The train is colored saffron-grey.

During a video conference on September 24, the prime minister unveiled one of the nine Vande Bharat trains. In a recent interview with media, Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw refuted the idea that the introduction of orange or saffron-colored Vande Bharat trains was motivated by politics, stating that the color selection was based on scientific principles.

Two colors are thought to be the most noticeable to human eyes: yellow and orange. Nearly 80% of trains in Europe are painted orange, or a mix of yellow and orange, according to Vaishnaw.

Many other colors, including silver, are as brilliant as yellow and orange, but “if we talk about it from the point of view of visibility to the human eye, these two colors are considered to be the best,” claims Vaishnaw.

According to Vaishnaw, the color of the Vande Bharat trains is purely scientific and has nothing to do with politics.
