In South Korea, India, Indianness, and Patanjali gain popularity

It is a source of pride, according to Acharya Balkrishna, general secretary of Patanjali Yogpeeth, that Indian and Korean diplomacy has reached its 50th year. However, he claimed that the connection goes back tens of thousands of years.

Nevertheless, it is a cause for great celebration that the two nations are marking the 50th anniversary of their diplomatic ties, the Acharya remarked during a speech at the Wellness Festival-2023 held in the South Korean province of Yangsung Bukto.

A special invitee for the event was Patanjali’s general secretary. He spoke extensively on Indian and Sanatan culture, as well as Ayurvedic treatment, throughout his address.
