In 2010, actor Fardeen Khan took a hiatus from performing. The actor is returning with “Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar,” directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, which will premiere on OTT on May 1. Fardeen went on to discuss his role in “Heeramandi.” The title of the series indicates that it is set in colonial India. It’s a story about politics, nawabs, and the rivalry between the Fareedan and Mallikajaan families. Love, treachery, retaliation, corruption, and patriotism serve as its fuels.
