With his attendance at the Kapoor Family Christmas Lunch, Ranbir Kapoor really took the internet by storm. Following the international premiere of his blue-eyed daughter Raha, Ranbir was seen having a great time at the Christmas lunch with his uncle Kunal Kapoor, the son of Shiv Kapoor, and other Kapoor relatives. A humorous video showing him helping Kunal light the Christmas cake/pudding on fire has gone viral, despite the fact that he was shown posing with the family. After the cake caught fire, Ranbir could be heard saying, “Jai Mata Di,” in the video.

According to the Kapoor family custom, Kunal plans a Christmas cake or pudding for the meal. Nearly yearly, Kunal adds the last touch by setting it on fire after Zahan pours a bottle of alcohol over it. When the cake was lighted this year, Ranbir exclaimed with excitement, “Jai Mata Di,” as he sat down with Kunal for the custom. Social media users are in shock with his response.

When the video appeared on Reddit, users couldn’t stop giggling. A social media user questioned, “Did he just say jai mata di while cutting Christmas cake?” “Did Rk say Jai mata di?” inquired a second. Another person said, “That Jai Mata Di hit different especially because my family has to do all that pooja stuff on Christmas because it was also my dad’s great grandma’s birthday.”

Raha, Ranbir and Alia Bhatt’s blue-eyed daughter, was also shown off to the public for the first time on Monday. Raha seemed to be wearing a pink and white dress with Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer embroidery on her in paparazzi-shared footage. She had on a pair of red shoes as well. There was a raucous shout when Raha arrived. To avoid frightening her, Ranbir tried to quiet the photographers. Raha was welcomed by Ranbir and Alia in November of 2022.
