After the Indian Police Force, Shweta Tiwari will reprise her role as an intelligence officer in Rohit Shetty’s Singham; details

TV personality Shweta Tiwari is getting ready for the debut of Indian Police Force, her next movie, however specifics about her involvement are still being withheld. Not only will Shweta appear in Rohit Shetty’s upcoming film, the eagerly awaited Singham Again, starring Ajay Devgn, Akshay Kumar, Ranveer Singh, Arjun Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Tiger Shroff, and Deepika Padukone, but he also revealed this at the trailer launch of his debut OTT series. In the movie, the TV actor will portray an intelligence officer.

“Rohit sir told me that he will give me another project only if I get food on the Indian Police Force set every day,” Shweta said at the press conference. However, he proposed his next movie without any of it (laughs).

Being a part of Rohit Shetty’s police world is an honor in and of itself, the actress said, reflecting on her experience working on the Amazon Prime original series. When I received a call from his team, I was ecstatic. I enthusiastically said “yes” when asked whether I wanted to take part in it. I answered, “No!” when asked if I wanted to hear my character out first. I’m doing it, therefore it’s OK. It was during Khatron Ke Khiladi that I had first met Sir. He used to really terrify me. I still find him incredibly terrifying. But he made everyone feel at ease on site.

“You never know when he’s joking or serious when he’s talking to you,” Shweta said. “Tu late aayi?” he asks if you arrive late. You don’t know whether he’s only inquiring or chastising you. After then, he will continue to bring it up. He would exclaim, “This is happening because Shweta came late,” at the drop of a pencil.

TV actors have often spoken out against the prejudice they experience on movie sets and the fact that movie actors are treated with more deference than they are. However, none of it took place on the Indian Police Force sets. “Rohit Sir was always very happy. It’s common for other film professionals to point out that you’re a TV person. But every performer was treated with the same dignity on this set. That’s why collaborating with him and his group was wonderful. Many performers claim they don’t want to practice, but Shweta recalls that everyone on this set worked on scenes with her and approached her.

Providing insight into Rohit’s working methods, Shweta said, “First and foremost, I must say that his team practices in front of us actors who appear in front of the camera. They were so excellent that we developed a complex. When he makes his squad practice, they look amazing in front of the camera. You find yourself wondering whether you’ll be able to equal their shoulders. The way his crew performs and delivers their sentences is just amazing! Being a part of his series and the police world was an honor.

Starring Sidharth Malhotra, Vivek Oberoi, Shilpa Shetty Kundra, and Isha Talwar, Indian Police Force is scheduled for release on January 19.
