Amitabh Bachchan was referred to as “Lambu ji” by Jaya Bachchan till she stopped because of her daughter Shweta Bachchan

In an interview with Filmfare, she reportedly said, “I used to call him Lambu Ji till Shweta began calling him by that name also. I knew it was time to give up.” The seasoned actress further discloses that Big B was a highly involved parent, especially in Shweta’s case since he had become rather busy by the time Abhishek Bachchan was born and growing up. The ‘Guddi’ actress said, “We had a maid to help during the day after Shweta was born, but we would handle everything ourselves at night.” Actually, Amit would take over on Sundays.
