Chamkila: ‘Punjab Da Buttar’ Diljit Dosanjh appears in a new Amul advertisement

The popular dairy brand in India, Amul, is renowned for producing humorous and timely advertisements that connect with a broad audience. Their famous Amul girl has adorned commercials that deftly mix a number of popular themes, earning them a particular place in the hearts of Indian viewers.

People have always been able to relate to their commercials. In a lovely twist, Amul has now gotten involved in the hype around Imtiaz Ali’s newly released film “Amar Singh Chamkila,” which stars Parineeti Chopra and Diljit Dosanjh in the key parts. Amul has commemorated the popularity of the movie with a lighthearted cartoon homage.

Two animated figures depicting Diljit Dosanjh and Parineeti Chopra’s Amar Singh Chamkila and Amarjot Singh personas were posted on Amul’s Instagram page recently. The positioning of the two figures suggests that Chamkila and Amarjot are singing and enjoying some Amul butter. “Ex Chamachkhila” and “Punjab Da Buttar” are inscribed on the poster.

Imtiaz Ali’s Over-The-Top:

‘Chamkila’ marks Imtiaz Ali’s OTT debut. For the first time, Imtiaz Ali is distributing a movie straight to an over-the-top platform. Imtiaz said that we should constantly attempt new things while discussing this choice.

Imtiaz said, “Well, new things come along and you must try it,” in an interview with Pinkvilla. The director went on to say, “I think of myself as a major moviegoer, as a theatergoer and a director. When I shut my eyes and think of a movie, I always see myself viewing a giant screen in a theater. That’s something I can’t control, but I don’t believe it will hurt the film I created for an OTT.”
