Conviction of Harvey Weinstein is reversed, and the producer gets medical care when he returns to New York

Actress Jessica Mann and former production assistant Mimi Haleyi were involved in events that led to allegations of sexual assault and rape against Weinstein, 72, in 2020.The court recently reversed his conviction despite the fact that irrelevant evidence was used, opening the door for a possible retrial.

The actor returned to New York City with a very pale skin and required help to walk, indicating that his physical condition had severely worsened in the meantime. Regarding his health, Weinstein’s attorney, Arthur Aidala, raised worries by calling him a “train wreck.” Due to the aggravation of his many health conditions, which include diabetes, heart difficulties, sleep apnea, and eye disorders, Harvey Weinstein was transferred from the Mohawk Correctional Facility to Bellevue Hospital.
