The film, which is helmed by Prashanth Neel—best known for the popular “KGF” series—has an ensemble cast that includes Jagapathi Babu, Sriyaa Reddy, Prithviraj Sukumaran, and Shruti Haasan. “Salaar,” which debuted on December 22, 2023, became a global hit and garnered plaudits for being Prabhas’s return film. It made over Rs 650 crore.
The narrative centers on the political struggle for Khansaar and the relationship between Varadha Raja Mannar and Devaratha. A follow-up called Salaar Part 2: Shouryanga Parvam is planned for the movie.
