She exited the airport, gave the photographers a wave and a grin, and made her way directly to her vehicle.

In addition to receiving a lot of appreciation for her elegant Met Gala outfit, Alia’s mother-in-law, Neetu Kapoor, gave her a heartfelt shoutout. The seasoned actor posted a picture of “bahu” Alia on Instagram Stories with the caption, “Fabulous.” Riddhima Kapoor also congratulated her and posted a picture of her. Alia Bhatt made her Met Gala debut in 2023, looking lovely in a gown designed by Prabal Gurung. Her dress was a nod to the iconic wedding look designed by fashion great Karl Lagerfeld for Chanel’s autumn/winter 1992 collection. It included elaborate embroidery and tiny pearls for a beautiful, timeless appeal. “When I thought of the dress code ‘Garden of Time,’ I felt it needed something timeless, and nothing is more timeless than a sari,” Alia remarked of her outfit this year in an interview with Vogue.

In the meantime, Alia’s next motion picture release is Jigra. Vasan Bala directs the movie, which Alia and Karan Johar co-produce. Together with Vicky Kaushal and Ranbir Kapoor, she has also signed on to star in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love and War.
